Life, when hasn't it let you down. Like that one girl you had to hugest crush on, but she ended up liking one of your best friends. Its happened to me. This girl was beyond beautiful to me. Physically she looked amazing, she had the right demeanor, but she just didn't see me that way. I was watching the movie Just Friends and it explained it perfectly, I was in the FRIEND ZONE. We'd always talk about whatever, and people would always say we'd made a great couple, but when I saw her reaction to the statements, I followed right along with her and brushed them off saying, "Thats my Best Friend". Those bitter sweet words were still comforting, then she started dated one of my best friends. Me and this guy were tight. We were cool with each others parents and we hung out on the weekends; and you know back in High School, the trust test of friends was whether or not you hung out outside of school. They'd both approach me with their relationship problems. I was often their mediator or sorts. And its weird, because looking back on it today, I did my best to keep them together for selfish reasons outside of being a good friend; to stay close to her.
