VIII: Death Of The Black Sitcom

Writers, The Reality Show Boom, or "Just Because". What can explain the sudden stripping of Black Sitcoms from Television. Good Times first Debuted in 1974, Martin debuted in 1992. And since the cancelation of my era's greatest Black Sitcoms (Martin, The Wayans Bros., Living Single, etc.), the black community has been forced to feast on more music videos scripted reality shows.

With the number of working black writers and directors down in opposed to the mid-90's, even the corporated ran Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is missed. Even with all their carefully timed product placement that the writers and producers were known for, I still find myself clinging to Nick-At-Nite for my next Will fix.
